We did a video spotlight for Year Up at NOVA. This heart-warming video entitled “A gateway to the American dream” is a documentary spotlight highlighting the unique partnership between NOVA, Year Up National Capital Region and Training Futures.
Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) partners with several community-based organizations (CBO) to offer its credit courses at the CBO sites. The mission of the NOVA/CBO Initiative is to provide education and training to individuals at non-profit organizations that will create gateways of opportunity to higher education, better jobs and increased earnings to Northern Virginians who are pursuing the American dream. Meesha Media Group followed key students and program staff to document the successes of students who received college credit and job training in various career-focused fields.
